Property Management

It is the responsibility of DFW Lease and Property Management to examine, preserve and safeguard the integrity of Airport facilities and leases. To this end, the team supports DFW tenants and subtenants by providing exemplary property management services. Information on the most common property management questions can be found by clicking the links below.

For initial tenant improvement document submission:
Karina Rodriguez
FTZ/Lease & Property Management Administrator
O: 972-973-4649

POD submittals or construction document questions:
Marco Perez
Development Construction Manager
O: 972-973-1853

Permit Application Process:
The Commercial Development (CD) Department requires Airport tenants and subtenants to submit all permit applications and related documents to CD for compliance review with the DFW Development Design Guidelines, the Ground Lease, and the Subtenant Consent Agreement. Once the permit package is initially reviewed and approved by CD, an application can then be submitted in the CSS Portal to the Design, Code and Construction (DCC) Department - Code Compliance team for permit number assignment, and final permit review and approval. Note: Do not submit an application in the CSS Portal with Code Compliance until CD sends a notification stating the permit package has been reviewed and approved.

DCC Code Compliance Review Process:
During the Code Compliance review process comments will be addressed directly in the CSS Portal.

Permit Issuance and Addendums:
Once Code Compliance has reviewed and approved all outstanding items on the permit and the permit fee has been paid, a pre-construction meeting will be scheduled. After the permit has been issued, all addendums or modifications made to the issued permit set must be submitted to CD for an initial review and approval, prior to submitting to Code Compliance. Ensure the permit set follows the current and DFW adopted International Building Codes.
